Weebly is such a great way to build a full-featured site easily and quickly, but that doesn't mean a little guidance isn't helpful. There are just a few steps to creating a new site, and we'll walk you through them here.
Read through this guide (or watch the hour-long 'Beginner's Guide to Weebly' below) to get started and if at any time you need ANY help, just get in touch.
When you sign up and log into your Weebly account, you'll be prompted to start your site. To get started:
Select Site, Store or Blog from the options presented
You'll most likely be choosing Site the majority of the time, so that's what we'll focus on here.
Next, you'll be directed to choose a theme from our awesome pre-set options (there are more than 100 themes, with more added each month).
Hover over a theme you like and click each of the colored box icons in the bottom left corner to see the different colorways available for that theme (you can also press Preview to preview how it will look)
When you've settled on one you like, hover over it and click the Choose button
A 'Choose Your Website Domain' pop-up will appear. This part isn't super important until you actually go to publish your site.
If you don't already have a domain you want to hook up, tick the 'Use a Subdomain of Weebly.com' option (you can change this later) and type in a URL of your choice in the text box
Click the Continue button
Boom! You've got a website. It's not published yet... we gotta build it first. Check out our Weebly article set to get more information on how to customize and publish your website.
