If you have an image-heavy page with PHP script, the static images will not be cached by CloudFlare as PHP is considered dynamic content.

If a script is connecting to an external URL for images without the proper configuration, an influx of bots from CloudFlare, indexing the images, might be misinterpreted as being an attack.
Use PageRules
To solve these kinds of problems, you can use PageRules. This feature allows you to change CloudFlare behavior, including cache policy, performance and security for specific URLs. To get to PageRules:

Navigate to 'https://www.cloudflare.com/page-rules?z=YOURDOMAIN.COM' (replace 'YOURDOMAIN.COM' with your actual domain) in your browser

Alternatively, from your CloudFlare account, you can go to Settings then Page Rules
