DomainKeys and DKIM

Share

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is the successor to DomainKeys (DK). It is a feature that helps to prevent spam by verifying the sender of incoming emails and checking for modifications to the original message.

It is recommended that everyone begin using DKIM instead of the older DK. Our servers are compatible with DKIM and implement the newer version.

cPanel

Currently we fully support the DKIM outgoing authentication specification which is available with version 11.32 (or later) of cPanel/WHM. As of version 11.32, cPanel & WHM's existing DK implementation was converted to DKIM and extended in a number of ways.

Enable DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail):

  1. Log in to cPanel.

  2. In the Mail section click the Email Authentication icon.

  3. Under DKIM click Enable.
