ConfigServer ModSecurity Control Feature

Note: the following only applies to Cloud VPS and Dedicated hosting plans.

ConfigServer ModSecurity Control is a WHM add-on that is used to manage 'mod_security' rules/whitelists on a per-account basis and can be downloaded from it's website.

To install ConfigServer ModSec Control:

1. Log in to your server via SSH as the root user and it's password (provided to you in your welcome email)

2. Execute the following commands:

   wget http://configserver.com/free/cmc.tgz
   tar xf cmc.tgz
   cd cmc
   ./install.sh
   cd .. && rm -rf cmc cmc.tgz

Once done, refresh your browser and then log in to WHM and you should see the plugin on the left sidebar.
